I play career mode as the player I created, so the cpu is pretty much playing itself with just my player is the only variable not a cpu, I end up just sticking to world class because if I don't I will never get the ball to do anything with it on higher levels, I have to maintain a 9.0 rating every game set by the manager, which is hard to do if the opposing team just holds onto the ball the entire game and only has three shots on goal, where I have only one shot on goal and it's in the back of the net, it's aggravating, because I prefer the speed of gameplay on legendary, but what's the point if it's exactly like you said, which it is, I constantly see my defenders back away from the ball, no pressing at all, if a ball is loose, my defenders will stand there and stare at it, they literally wait for the opposing team to get it, or they get it and then immediately pass it to the opposing team, not to mention I will get in wide open scoring lanes, just for my teammates to ignore me and refuse to pass me the ball, if they finally decide to pass me the ball it's too late and a defender had finally realized I was open and before the ball gets to me they are already in a tackle with elastic man legs that stretch a mile.
